    I think you can setup a guest mode on current app, so the wait stuff can hand it to customers for them to order and confirm them before sending order to kitchen. So both customers and wait stuff can use same device.

    You still need someone to greet and hand customers a device to place order, and to answer their questions about menu. It helps but I don't think it helps that much. And when they make mistake, it could cost more time to fix it. Just my opinion.
